At
NUTRITION
connections
we are passionate about helping people enjoy healthier, more energetic
lives by improving their eating habits and lifestyles.
While developing and teaching a variety of corporate and community
health education programs, Eileen Faughey became aware of the
crucial role nutrition plays in disease prevention and treatment
as well as in affecting mood, energy levels, and athletic performance.
As a result, she decided to obtain an advanced Nutrition degree
in addition to her Master’s Degree in Health Education and
focus her efforts on helping people improve their health through
foods that are delicious, satisfying, and healthy.
Eileen blends her nutrition knowledge and culinary expertise to
help her clients develop and adhere to dietary solutions. She
knows that people eat
food, not nutrients and that nutrition
science is useful only when it is applied. With twenty years of
experience, she has the skills to help people make lifestyle changes
and reach their personal health goals.
In addition to counseling, conducting seminars, and consulting,
she is the author of several practical resources such as:
Through NUTRITION
connections,
she also works with other health and nutrition professionals to
develop programs and resources that promote positive lifestyle
changes.
